We are excited to announce Vernissage as the first exhibition at Sculpturesite Gallery's new location in the lovely town of Glen Ellen. The landmark indoor-outdoor venue located in historical Jack London Village will be the new home to the Bay Area's premier sculpture gallery, now in our 25th Anniversary Year.
Vernissage, which means “gallery opening” in French, will debut brand new work from Arizona artist Judith Stewart; Southern California's Jon Krawczyk; New Mexico sculptor Jeff Metz; Canadian Frances Semple; Bay Area sculptors Bella Feldman, JP Long and Dina Angel-Wing; and California sculptors (and sisters) Jane Burton and Tyler Burton. Outdoors, new kinetic sculptures by Troy Pillow and John Tyler will be displayed throughout the Jack London Village grounds. We are also pleased to welcome California artist Dawn Hart to the gallery with this show.
We are hosting a Grand Re-Opening Celebration on Saturday, May 30, from 4-6pm, which will also mark the official opening of the exibition. Vernissage will be on display through August 23, 2015.
In addition to the new works of Vernissage, the opening of our new location will also feature a number of the most admired sculptures from our previous location at Cornerstone. Please call or email the gallery for more information about your favorite works.
